About the Job:

The Sr. Software Engineer will be part of a fun and dynamic team responsible for building out the franchise-facing management plan for our restaurant, menu, and pricing data. Built using react and serverless technologies, these products form the suite of the above-store platform that ensures smooth operations and provides agility and flexibility to our business.

The Day-to-Day:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze the needs of the users to build cloud-native serverless solutions
  • Write clean and maintainable code in React for the product’s serverless front ends and implement backend APIs and functionality using Node.js/Typescript
  • Participate in all aspects of the SDLC to deliver the software
  • Maintain and document each aspect of the product
  • Implement automated testing and deployments
  • Engage in code reviews and design sessions to ensure maintainable and high-quality code

Is This You?

  • BS/BA in Computer Science and/or equivalent training or experience
  • At least 2+ years of experience with AWS Serverless technologies like API Gateway, Lambda, S3, SNS, SQS, Route53, Event Bridge, Step Functions, etc.; building synchronous and asynchronous systems
  • 5 years front-end and back-end development experience in popular technologies like Node.js, REST APIs, GRAPHQL, and Typescript.
  • At least 3 years of experience with databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, or DynamoDB
  • Experience working with Git and Docker and an understanding of infrastructure-as-code tools such as Serverless Framework, CloudFormation, or Terraform
  • Ability to work in an agile, collaborative environment

Salary Range: $98,400 to $148,830 annually + bonus eligibility + equity (if applicable) + benefits
