About the Job:
The Software Engineer will be part of the team that builds Taco Bell’s amazing Menu. Built using .NET and serverless technologies, the Menu system aggregates product, pricing, and restaurant data to generate real-time menus. The candidate will help maintain the existing platform as well as assist in an event-driven modernization of the menu platform.
The Day-to-Day:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and analyze the needs of the users to build serverless solutions
- Develop Menu platform using cloud native serverless technologies to be resilient and scalable
- Maintain and document the technical aspect of the platform
- Participate in all aspects of the SDLC in a collaborative fashion to deliver the Menu platform product
- Provide support for smooth operations of the menu service
Is This You?
- BS/BA in Computer Science and/or equivalent training or experience
- 3+ years of experience with AWS Serverless technologies like API Gateway, Lambda, S3, SNS, SQS, Route53, Event Bridge, Step Functions, etc., and back-end development experience in popular technologies like Node.js or .NET C#
- 3+ years of experience with databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, or DynamoDB required
- Demonstrate an understanding of both synchronous and asynchronous microservices
- Experience working with Git and Docker and an understanding of infrastructure-as-code tools such as Serverless Framework, CloudFormation, or Terraform
- Knowledge of agile methodologies and experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, LucidCharts, Slack, etc.

Salary Range: $88,200 to $134,200 annually + bonus eligibility + equity (if applicable) + benefits
