About the Job:
  
The Software Engineer II is part of the Order Microservices team that processes every Taco Bell Order. Built using serverless microservices the Order Service is a critical component of our digital orders process, and you will play a key role in ensuring its smooth operation.

The Day-to-Day:

• Design and build software solutions using AWS Serverless technologies in TypeScript and write unit tests using the Jest framework.
• Collaborate with software architects, other software engineers, QA, SRE/production support, and product teams to clarify requirements and implement robust systems.
• Participate in Agile Scrum activities such as daily standups, sprint planning, and retros.
• Perform peer code reviews and participate in software design sessions

Is this you?

· Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a technical discipline; or equivalent years of experience
· At least 3 years of experience as a software developer using TypeScript
· At least 2 years of experience with AWS serverless cloud computing including Lambda, EventBridge/EventBus, APIGW, Dynamodb, Step Functions, SQS, SNS, and Route53
· Experience with AWS CDK / AWS SAM / Serverless Framework required
· Experience with monitoring and alerting using Lumigo (https://lumigo.io/), AWS CloudWatch alarms/dashboards is a plus
· The ability to exhibit strong communication qualities and to effectively partner with all of IT as well as our business operations teams.

Salary Range $88,200 to $134,200 annually + bonus eligibility + equity (if applicable) + benefits
