About the Job:

Taco Bell is seeking to add a Data Engineer to our Business Intelligence team. This person will build data pipelines to source, analyze, and validate Taco Bell data from internal and external sources. The engineer will also be supporting data modeling and structuring the data in an efficient, accurate, and scalable manner using AWS technologies: Redshift, Athena S3, Lambda, and Python along with data integration tools.

The Day-to-Day:

  • Leverage existing big data ingestion framework to code data pipeline features and data processing jobs for collecting various data for restaurant data
  • Work with real-time data streams & APIs from multiple internal and external sources
  • Write ETL pipelines to implement pre-defined business rules and metrics
  • Build visual data quality metrics in the data warehouse load processes
  • Provide scalable solutions to manage large file imports

Is This You?

  • BA/BS in a related field, or equivalent experience
  • At least 2+ years of experience designing and delivering large-scale, 24-7, mission-critical data pipelines and features using modern big data architectures
  • At least 2+ years of hands-on experience in ETL tools such as Talend & Python and SQL along with 1+ years of experience working in Redshift and AWS Lambda.
  • Familiarity with AWS Data and Analytics technologies such as Athena, Redshift Spectrum
  • Experience integrating data from multiple data sources and file types such as JSON, Parquet, and Avro formats.
  • Experience integrating data using API integration from Salesforce, streaming technologies such as Kinesis Firehose, Kafka

Salary Range: $35.34 to $50.24 hourly + equity (if applicable) + benefits
